Cryptocurrencies traded the most on Thursday, with Cardano and DogeCoin topping the list of gainers over the past 24 hours. Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, rose 1.57% to 4,2940.95. This is a 4.5% increase over the past seven sessions. Ethereum rose 2.05 percent to 03,032.32. The second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization is up 9.5% over the past week.

The BNB stock is up 1.56% and the US dollar rate is 0.03 CE.

The global cryptocurrency market capitalization rose 1.75% to 1.1.95 trillion in the last 24 hours. According to Coinmarketcap, the total volume of cryptocurrency trading fell 1.95% to 0.298.24 billion.

Meanwhile, according to three people familiar with the development, the major crypto exchanges in India have collectively decided not to make announcements during this year's Indian Premier League (IPL). Last year, CoinDCX, WazirX, and CoinSwitch, among others, Kuber spent a total of around Rs 90 billion on TV advertising for the IPL World Cup and T-20 cricket.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said new forms of digital money, such as cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, are a threat to the US financial system and will require new consumer protection laws.

 Speaking at a session Wednesday organized by the Bank for International Settlements, a global body of central bank governors, he also said new technologies can make electronic payments cheaper and faster. But he said they could also destabilize existing financial institutions.

The Australian and New Zealand banking group announced on Thursday that it had paid for the stablecoin in Australian dollars, becoming the first Australian lender to digitally mint in a historic transaction.
